American Survival Guide closed down publication of their magazine a short time ago. But in February of 1999, Tim Ashbaugh, a part-time contributor to the magazine, decided to look into the ghillie suit makers in his home state of Ohio.

At first, he was convinced that the suits couldn't possibly be what we claimed they were. We don't ever give suits to people for testing, but we made him a suit that fit him and let him borrow it.
