Thermal Images

These images were made using the technology of Indigo Systems. They were kind enough to send them to us for our use here. These are photographs of one man's suit with that man in the suit. We have left the words they put into the photos where they put them. All photos are unretouched, in the size they sent to us.

To start, we show you a parking lot. Note the truck and what you can and cannot see of the dash, tires, hubcaps, lights, and reflection in the mirror. Note the cracks in the sidewalk, the branches and leaves on the tree and bushes. Can you see a human heat signature in this photograph? The shooter is no more than 15 yards away, and the camera is focussed on him.

Two more shots of the same parking lot, same truck, same detail in the images. The man is moving. Can you find the human heat signature?

Now the man in the suit has moved back. Do you see a human heat signature?

Now the man has lifted a booted foot to show where he is.

Here he is, getting up out of his crawling position. Note the clearly discernable boot heat signature.

And here he is from the back, with the suit covering him yet again. Note the complete lack of human thermal signature.

Now let's watch him walk away, without showing a trace of the heat signature a human would make.
